Location: Thunder Bay, ON Position: Full Time (up to 40hrs/week) Overview The Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols. The Sovereign Dental Office Manager will bring the experience of the patient, the team and the employer to the next level! Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise office staff, including training and schedulingMaintain office budget and financial records
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure smooth patient flow
  • Utilize electronic medical records systems effectively
  • Continually monitor clinic environment to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Track, report and take action on business indicators to continue operational excellence
  • Providing coaching and direction for the entire team, multiple locations
  • Implement and enforce office policies and procedures
  • Handle patient inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • HR generalist duties including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and offboarding
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
  • IT support for multi-office locations
  Requirements:
  • LEADERSHIP, TEAMWORK, RESPECT, PASSION, RELIABILITY AND HONESTY ARE A MUST!
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or dental office
  • Knowledge of OpenDental software and medical terminology is advantageous
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
