We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about dentistry and patient care.

This full-time position is available for someone who not only has the skills that are required to be a Dental Assistant but one who possesses the personality and enthusiasm to excel at it. We are interested in you!

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Maintain patient records and sterilize instruments
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency in Open Dental or similar dental software
• Familiarity with digital xray software is a plus
• Experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial
• Ability to assist in various dental procedures
• Comfort working with pediatric patients
