Dental Receptionist
Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in managing electronic medical records.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using Dentrix or similar software.
- Handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including verifying insurance information.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure optimal patient care and experience.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records management.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $20.00-$25.89 per hour
